Download videos from Vimeo
Vimeo doesn't expose a download button on most videos — creators have to explicitly enable it, and most don't. Clip pulls the underlying MP4 directly from Vimeo's CDN so you can save the original file.

Vimeo quality is usually high — why?
Vimeo skews toward filmmakers, designers and professional creators who upload from high-end cameras. A typical Vimeo upload is 1080p at minimum, often 4K. That's also why Vimeo files are larger than equivalent-length YouTube videos.
Can I download password-protected or private Vimeo videos?
No. Clip only works with publicly accessible content. Password-protected and members-only videos require Vimeo authentication, which Clip respects.
What about Vimeo Showcase / Vimeo OTT?
If the showcase is public, the underlying videos can be downloaded one at a time using each video's individual URL. Paid OTT content (Vimeo's Netflix-style platform) cannot be downloaded.
