By using Clip ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We've kept the language as plain as we can while still protecting both sides.

1. Who we are

Clip is operated by [Your business name], registered in the Netherlands. Contact: [email protected].

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Clip. If you're using Clip on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

3. What Clip is, and isn't

Clip is a tool that, on your request, retrieves publicly accessible video files from third-party platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and others) and delivers them to you. Clip does not host any video content of its own. We do not screen, curate, or select what users download.

4. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for what you do with the service and the files you download. You agree:

5. Free tier

The free tier is offered as-is, supported by short ads before each download and limited to videos under 15 minutes at up to 720p resolution. We reserve the right to change the free tier's limits at any time.

6. Pro subscription

Clip Pro is €4.00 per month (or €36 / year on the annual plan), billed via our payment processor Lemon Squeezy. Pro removes ads, raises the length cap, unlocks 1080p–4K, and enables batch downloads.

Cancellation. You can cancel any time from the link in your purchase confirmation email or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep Pro features until then.

Refunds. If Clip Pro doesn't work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.

Price changes. If we change the Pro price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change applies. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.

7. Copyright disclaimer & DMCA

Clip respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content downloaded through Clip infringes your rights, see our DMCA policy for the takedown process.

Because we do not host content, takedown requests will typically be addressed by removing access to specific URLs or extractors, or by blocking specific accounts.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantees. The service can be interrupted by maintenance, third-party platform changes, or factors outside our control. We may suspend or discontinue features at any time.

9. Termination

You may stop using Clip at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access — including any active Pro subscription — if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or use it for illegal purposes. In serious cases (fraud, repeated infringement, attempts to break the service) we may terminate without refund.

10. Disclaimers

Clip is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific video will be downloadable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clip's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or €20 if you're a free user). We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Clip harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights, including copyright.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and — for substantial changes that affect your rights — notify you by email or by a notice on the home page for at least 30 days.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be settled by the courts of [Amsterdam], the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
